An Extra Day

Today is Leap Day.
This year is a Leap Year, meaning February has 29 days instead of 28!

What will  you do with your extra February day?

Maybe you could solve this little puzzle.
In this newspaper article from the Nelson Evening Mail, a grandmother and a grand-daughter are both celebrating their 18th birthdays within a few days of each other.

Summer Holiday Art

The children spent some time during the first week back at school for 2016 making art works to enter into the local
A & P Show
(Agricultural and Pastoral Show).
The art works had to reflect an activity from over the summer break.
Some students chose to use water-colour pencils and others chose to use pastels.
