We had a blast from the past today when this year's B4 got to Skype with Mrs McKenzie's friend Mrs. Morris
and her Grade 1/2 class in Australia.
Mrs. McK. and Mrs. Morris first met each other in 2010 through their class blogs.
Over the years there were lots of shared projects and Skye sessions.

ReplyDeleteIt was so wonderful to Skype with you today! It's funny to think that most of the students were not even born when we first started connecting through blogging, global projects, and Skype!
I loved looking at the pictures and your list of similarities and differences. Many students were talking about your free milk program. Iona said there was a similar program at her school in Scotland but you had to pay for the milk.
Our students were also pretty amazed about your swimming pool. You're very lucky!
Rose really appreciate you singing her happy birthday and we loved learning to count to 10 in Maori.
I hope we'll be able to connect again sometime.
