We've been discussing how learning happens in many places and in many ways.
In their first week back at school the B4 students reflected on what they had learned or got better at during the summer holidays.
What learning do you do out of school?

Dear B4,
ReplyDeleteIt sure looks like you all had a marvellous holiday! Looking at your pictures I was struck by how active you all are. Your illustrations were fantastic. I thought you did a great job of showing action.
I like to think that I am always learning. When I'm not in school I love to read. Sometimes I read books that help be to be a better educator and sometimes I read books for fun. When I find a really great book, I get into the zone and can find myself up half the night unable to put the book down.
I also love learning about nature. We are lucky to be surrounded by forests and the ocean so there is always something new to explore and learn about.
What do you hope to learn at school this year?
Your friend,
Mrs. Watson
