Volcanoes

We've been learning a lot about Volcanoes for Science.

Did you know there are four main types of volcanoes?
They are
caldera, cone, shield and composite.

We learned about the layers of the Earth.

 We made volcanoes!

And we've been sharing our learning about volcanoes.

Do you live near a volcano?
Do you know of a famous volcano?
When did it last erupt?
What type of volcano is it?

  1. What great learning B4. It looks like you have had a lot of fun learning about volcanoes. Can you tell us what the difference is between the four types of volcanoes? We are also wondering what type of volcanoes are in New Zealand?
