Are you following the Olympic games?
Google have put out this handy medal map, so you can see where the medals are going to.
Best wishes to all of our New Zealand athletes.
What are your favourite sports to watch?
Do you have a message for our athletes?
Dear B4,
ReplyDeleteThanks for this medal map! I'll check it out!
I have certainly been enjoying the London Olympics. Sometimes the coverage has been on quite late for me, but I've stayed up anyway. The games are so exciting.
I enjoyed watching the gymnastics, men's water polo, women's volleyball, swimming events, and right now I'm watching the women's kayaking. That's a new one for me!
Knowing people from other countries, like New Zealand, has enhanced the games for me!

Dear B4,
ReplyDeleteIsn’t the Olympic Games so exciting! I have been watching them a little bit, but I would like to know more about them.
My favourite sports to watch are Gymnastics, Diving and Swimming. I like these sports because they are very interesting and fast.
I don’t have much to say to our athletes but wish them good luck.

ReplyDeleteDear B4
ReplyDeleteThank you for the link of the Olympic medal map!
I love watching the Olympics and have watched them for quite a few years. This year since they are in London they have been a bit hard to watch. This has been because there is a time difference so the events are during the middle of the night. So far I have been mainly watching the rowing and Swimming. One of my favourite events to watch is the Diving. It’s amazing how they flip and spin from such a height and still land perfectly in the water. My message to the athletes would just be to go hard because you train for four years to get there so turn that into a medal.
